This is an exciting opportunity to work for a leading civil company in Sydney, working across Road projects.
The primary objective of this position is to provide on-site engineering services to assist in the achievement of organizational and project objectives.
The Role
* Undertake all HSEQ responsibilities as identified for your role in the Project's Management Plans and associated documents.
* As required, escalate potential and actual risks that may impact the safe, timely and cost-efficient delivery of activities under management.
* Manage quality production defined by method statements and ITP's. Monitor construction progress to ensure acceptable quality of structures and finishes.
* Establish, measure and report daily productivities for assigned activities.
* Undertake cost controlling and estimating as required by Project Manager.
* Develop, monitor and report on programmes for elements of work as required by the Project Manager.
* Manage work teams in the field.
* Verify subcontractors' claims and variations.
* Undertake procurement as required including use of Viewpoint and ensuring adherence to SWC governance requirements such as authority limits.
* Understand, comply and remain current with all company policies, procedures and compliance training as relevant to your role.
* Maintain up to date knowledge and application of, legislation, industry standards and technological innovations as relevant to your role.
