What You'll Be Doing

* Lead strategic planning for urban forest programs
* Oversee street tree inventory and performance analysis
* Manage budgets, contracts, and invoicing processes
* Administer GIS‑based asset management systems
* Drive transition to advanced tree management software
* Respond to biosecurity threats like PSHB
* Provide expert advice to internal and external stakeholders
* Mentor and supervise the City Trees project team

Qualifications


What You'll Bring

We're looking for a passionate leader with technical expertise in urban tree management. You'll ideally bring:

* Certificate IV in Project Management or equivalent experience
* Diploma in Arboriculture (desirable)
* Minimum 5 years' experience in urban tree management
* Proficiency in GIS systems (QGIS, ArcGIS)
* Strong planning, organisational, and leadership skills
* Advanced MS Office skills
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication abilities
* Current Driver's Licence and National Police Clearance
