Technical Installation Specialist
The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing and configuring POS systems, payment terminals, and peripherals at client sites. Effective communication skills and technical expertise are essential to deliver a positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* System Setup: Configure POS systems, network connections, and peripheral devices at client locations.
* Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Diagnose and resolve issues with POS hardware and software on-site or remotely. Perform regular maintenance tasks to ensure optimal system performance.
* Client Support: Provide on-site training and support to clients, ensuring they understand the POS system effectively.
* Documentation: Document all installation, maintenance, and repair activities in our ticketing system.
* Collaboration: Collaborate with the technical support team to resolve complex issues efficiently.
Requirements:
* At least a Diploma or degree in Information Technology or Electronics:
* Minimum 2 years of experience as a field technician in POS systems or IT support:
* Proficiency in troubleshooting POS systems and network connectivity:
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills:
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively:
