Manage the Design team for a specialist Fit Out Company

- End to end involvement on projects
**The opportunity/role**
Be part of a design and construct company that specialises in delivering hospitality fit out projects across Queensland and NSW.
As head of a small close knit team (1 x senior designer and 2 x juniors. ), who embrace the experience of creating commercial hospitality spaces from start to finish, you will have the opportunity to challenge yourself and execute exciting and unique projects.
Working closely with the MD as well as working with our in-house drafting, manufacturing, installation, equipment and projects divisions you are limited only by your imagination.
Not only will you be designing and creating spaces, you will be involved with each department throughout the entire construction process.
This is a full-time position offering $80K-$90k + Super, negotiable depending on your experience.

The company are also experts in manufacturing for their hospitality clients, mainly gaming bases, bars, custom furniture, joinery and more.
**Duties and responsibilities**
- 5-6 years working experience in commercial retail or hospitality design
- Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
- Proficient using Archicad (preferred)
- You will be a confident and enthusiastic person with exceptional organisational skills
- Strong design and documentation skills
- Excellent communication Skills
- Be able to liaise with clients, attend meetings, understand client briefs and undertake design presentations to MD & clients
- A strong understanding of the design process from concept to completion
- Visualise concepts and communicate them effectively to others
- A good balance of design, on site and construction know how
- An amazing portfolio demonstrating talent and design skills
- 3D modelling skills
- Industry knowledge of materials, finishes and specifications
- Understanding of construction practices, Australian Standards and building regulations
