Job Opportunity: Workforce Retention Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to join our team as a Workforce Retention Specialist. This role plays a crucial part in empowering individuals from diverse backgrounds by providing support and resources to help them stay employed in the long term.


Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct workplace assessments to identify client support needs and develop targeted action plans.
* Maintain regular contact with clients and employers to monitor progress and support needs.
* Monitor earnings and hours, and manage claim tracking.
* Negotiate tailored opportunities with employers.


Requirements:

* A passion for inclusive employment and a genuine commitment to empowering individuals from diverse backgrounds.
* Relevant experience in employment services, community engagement, recruitment, or workforce development.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills – you will be working with people from all walks of life.
* Proven ability to build relationships with job seekers, employers, and community stakeholders.
* Adaptability and initiative – this is a dynamic, fast-paced environment where innovation is encouraged.
* Understanding of local labour markets and barriers to employment in regional communities.
* A current driver's license and the ability to travel locally as required.
