The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Community Disability Support Worker located in Westdale. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to individuals with daily living tasks, promoting independent and holistic lives.
* Providing support in everyday daily activities around the home
* Providing support with hygiene and personal care
* Assistance, support, and chaperoning activities outside the home environment
* Assisting with medication compliance which may include the dispensation of prescription medication
* Meal assistance which may include meal preparation
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* A minimum qualification of a Certificate III in Individual Support
* Drivers License, reliable vehicle and comprehensive car insurance
* At least one year experience as a Disability Support Worker
* NDIS Clearance, First Aid (3 yrs), CPR (12 months) & National police clearance - or willingness to obtain
