The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and motivated Physiotherapist (Grade 2) to join our Allied Health & Chronic Disease Care Team for a Max term 12‐month period (8th June 2026 – 11th June 2027), ideally as a full‐time employee however (0.8 EFT part time considered).
About the Role
Working within a multidisciplinary allied health environment, you will deliver evidence‐based, client‐centred physiotherapy services to adult clients with a diverse range of needs including:
* Chronic disease and complex health conditions
* Progressive neurological conditions
* Disability support and rehabilitation
* Age‐related health and mobility conditions
You will receive strong clinical support from our Senior Clinician Physiotherapy and broader Physiotherapy team, ensuring you continue to grow and develop professionally. This is a Max Term Fulltime Parental Leave position primarily based at our Doncaster site, with opportunities to work across multiple AccessHC locations and within the community.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver timely, safe and evidence‐based physiotherapy services within your professional scope of practice.
* Conduct comprehensive assessments, treatment planning and rehabilitation programmes.
* Provide individual therapy, education and goal‐based interventions to support client independence.
* Design and facilitate group exercise and health programmes.
* Support self‐management and preventative health strategies.
* Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary allied health teams to optimise client outcomes.
* Maintain accurate clinical documentation and data reporting aligned with funding requirements.
* Participate in clinical supervision, professional development and quality improvement initiatives.
* Contribute to student supervision and allied health assistant delegation where appropriate.

What You Will Bring (Key Selection Criteria)
* Bachelor of Physiotherapy (or equivalent)
* Current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist
* Minimum 2 years' experience in community health, hospital, disability or private practice
* Demonstrated experience supporting clients with neurological, disability, chronic disease or age‐related conditions
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
* Strong clinical reasoning, communication and documentation skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and clinical software systems
