About the position
We are looking for a Supply & Operations Planning Manager, based in our support office located in Strathpine, Brisbane and reporting into our Head of Demand, Supply & Replenishment. In this role you and your team of 2 direct reports will be responsible for the flow of stock, from our 5 distribution centres to our over 330 stores across Australia and New Zealand. You will be part of a team who is focused on delivering the best outcome for our customers through accurate supply chain planning and you will work closely with the rest of our Merchandise and Planning teams in the support office, as well as our Retail Operations and Group Supply Chain teams, from across Australia and New Zealand.
The role also involves:
* Forecasting inbound and outbound stock flows for our distribution centres within agreed tolerances, so our Group Supply Chain teams can efficiently manage operations
* Understanding our E2E supply chain and systems to problem solve issues or improve processes, so we deliver the best results for our customers
* Managing deleted, aged and dormant stock levels in DC’s, ensuring we remain at appropriate levels for the business and DC capacity
* Supporting our new, refurbishment and relocation store programs with accurate store stock planning, to agreed timelines
* Managing the store stock feedback process, ensuring your team are providing timely feedback and actions plans within agreed SLA’s
* Building strong and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Developing your team’s skills and gaining knowledge to help us continuously improve our established processes
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with clear communication and an ability to build collaborative relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
* Strong team focus and experience in coaching and developing team members
* Experience in supply chain planning or analytical roles in either retail or FMCG industries
* Strength in interpretating and analysing data coupled with demonstrated proactive and collaborative problem-solving abilities
* Excellent time management and prioritisation with the ability to manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines from various stakeholders
* Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
* Exposure to SAP / JDA (Blue Yonder) or similar systems
