HR Manager Opportunity: Join a leading, well-established, West Australian private company with a national footprint. ABOUT THE ROLE As the HR Manager/General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our people strategy, partnering with leaders to attract, develop and retain key talents. In addition, you will serve as the go-to person for all operational HR matters. You will lead the implementation of HR initiatives designed to build a high-performance culture, ensure compliance and foster strong employee engagement as we continue our growth journey.
Lead the strategic development and implementation of adequate HR initiatives to attract, develop, and retain top talent across all levels of the organisation. Oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery. Partner with the leadership team to address HR, employee relations, and WHS challenges, providing pragmatic and commercially focused solutions. Proactively liaise with managers to effectively address grievances, performance management and disciplinary matters in alignment with company values and legal compliance. Collaborate with leadership and site managers to provide commercially focused solutions and advice on a wide range of HR, ER and WHS matters, supporting operational needs and strategic goals. Oversee the workplace inspection, hazard identification, and incident reporting processes, maintaining the integrity of the WHS Information System to ensure a safer working environment and minimise risk. ABOUT YOU Are someone who has: 5-6 years of strong HR generalist experience, demonstrating operational skillset and commercially-focused solutions. Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management or equivalent. Sound knowledge of employment law, industrial relations and employee relations. Professional demeanour, demonstrated "can-do" attitude and enthusiasm for the work involved in the role. Outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills. A proactive, "roll-up-your-sleeves" attitude towards problem-solving with the ability to think on your feet. Multi-task in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and work exceptionally well under pressure. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to: Approach HR challenges with a pragmatic and business-oriented mindset. Work both independently and as part of a team while being proactive and showing initiative. Be highly organised and diligent yet able to thrive in a fast-moving environment. Be proficient in crisis management and decisive problem-solving skills.
