The Team
Join the Occupational Therapy Service at the Royal Hobart Hospital, the largest teaching hospital in Tasmania. The team consists of over 90 members including occupational therapists, assistants, play specialists, diversional therapists, a carpenter, and administration officers.
The Role
Enhance the capacity and efficiency of Occupational Therapy Services by assisting the Occupational Therapist in undertaking delegated tasks, including re‐training in activities of daily living, equipment management and provision, some administrative duties and other therapeutic interventions.
This role is based at the Repatriation Centre Geriatric Evaluation and Management (GEM) wards but will be expected to cover across other areas when required.

Details of appointment
Permanent full‐time day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. Hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Salary
Salary range $67,193 to $72,126 per annum. Employer 12% superannuation contribution on top of this amount. Salary range in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.
