**The Role**
The Program Director Romeo Enterprise Office (REO) is a key position responsible for leading the delivery of the Maritime Helicopter Sub-Program within the Naval Aviation, Aircrew Training and Commons (NATC) Branch of Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group. The Maritime Helicopter Program is responsible for delivering Navy's next generation submarine hunter, anti-surface warfare and maritime support helicopter capability.
The Program Director reports to and supports the Director REO to drive and influence the strategic direction of the REO. Specifically, this will include leading the planning and implementation of NATC Branch strategies for REO's corporate, commercial, business and program performance and decision support functional outcomes, ensuring a high level of integration and consistency across the program in order to meet capability delivery outcomes.
The Program Director will be responsible for driving strategic activities for the REO and meeting program outcomes through effective performance management, assuming accountability for very complex work. The Program Director will have direct responsibility for driving strategic initiatives to expand sovereign maintenance, repair and overhaul capability. The Program Director will influence and develop strategies, priorities and operational leadership practices in support of Defence objectives. The Program Director is a key leadership position in the REO and will be responsible for forming and maintaining a strong partnership with REO stakeholders, including the Capability Sponsor, Capability Realisation Manager, United States Navy, and industry partners.

In this position you will provide advice, mentorship and guidance in the commercial, workforce, program performance and business elements of the REO, including identification of risks and implementation of appropriate mitigation strategies. As an Executive Level 2 Program Director, you will strategically engage and influence Defence senior leadership and provide the key link between these senior leaders and employees within the REO.
Program management experience and a base knowledge of Foreign Military Sales fundamentals is highly desirable.
