Position
The company is at a critical point of its maturity as a business, with several projects (BESS & wind farms) on the horizon to construction.
Core Responsibilities
- Setting up the planning & scheduling function for the business with the end goal of standardising these to effectively deliver a portfolio of construction projects
- You will procure and lead the integration of Privavera 6 (P6) software and train other functions on how to effectively interact to enhance schedule visibility
- Build the Master project schedule taking inputs from multiple contracts with construction and supply partners
- During construction you will be tasked to coordinate schedule updates with contractors (EPC, BoPs, OEMs), and look to identify and overcome key risks to critical path
- Develop concise reports for the Project Manager and log change requests from contractors and their impact on schedule
Ideal Profile
- Project planning experience for wind farms in construction is highly desirable (alternatively BESS or Solar Farm projects)
- Ability to build systems and processes for the Planning function from scratch and mature them to a position where the company can deliver multiple projects through construction
- Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining complex schedules with critical path analysis and a process of early detection of slippages and schedule risk
