Trade and Services We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Auto Electrician to diagnose, repair, and install complex electrical and electronic systems in various vehicles (cars, trucks, heavy machinery, etc.) to ensure optimal performance and safety, adhering to industry standards and WHS regulations of our client.
Commencing January **** Monday to Friday 6.00am-2.30pm Eagle Farm Location $***** per hour base perm rate Duties and Responsibilities: Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in vehicle electrical and electronic systems using specialised diagnostic tools.
Install, maintain, repair, and replace wiring, components (alternators, starters, control modules), and accessories.
Interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, and vehicle manuals.
Perform routine electrical maintenance and system checks.
Connect and test power-operated vehicle equipment and accessories.
Provide accurate time and cost estimates for repairs to customers.
Complete accurate job sheets, work orders, and service reports.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment, adhering strictly to WHS policies.
Skills and Qualifications: Relevant trade qualification (e.g., Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology).
Proven experience as an Auto Electrician.
Valid Driver's License.
Experience with heavy machinery and/or trucks Strong knowledge of modern vehicle electrical systems and computer-based equipment.
Advanced problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Physically fit for work in various environments, including confined spaces
