Progressive Sydney educational establishment require a competent and dynamic facilities professional to assist with both their operational facilities management and their longer-term asset upgrades. Reporting to the Senior FM, your focus will be on delivering superior work order management skills (the current work order management system is BEIMS), asset management experience and assisting with project management of minor capital works throughout their large and diverse property portfolio. You will have: Demonstrated ability to work within a high-performing, customer-centric team Strong capital works project management capability to deliver various works and techniques Elevated knowledge of complex building systems, including HVAC, security, vertical transportation, electrical distribution, fire protection and life safety systems. Enhanced levels of stakeholder engagement skills The ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and respond to dynamic needs, emerging risks, and operational urgencies Advanced customer service orientation, with a focus on delivering high-quality, responsive, and reliable services Highly developed written and verbal communication skills Thorough understanding of the National Construction Code (NCC) and relevant legislation and compliance frameworks, particularly Annual Fire Safety Statements (AFSS) and related statutory obligations Sound knowledge of BMS and building engineering systems Advanced knowledge of asset management principles and building sustainability frameworks You will bring a proven and extensive working knowledge of large portfolio maintenance and project delivery. You will have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Facilities Management software to support efficient operations and decision-making. Trade or tertiary qualified, or with significant Facilities Management experience, you have had a broad exposure to managing services and project delivery across live and busy institutional portfolios.
