AG Security Group | Senior Leadership Role | Reporting to Managing Director

Are you a commercially driven leader ready to take ownership of corporate support functions in a growing, performance-focused organisation?

AG Security Group is seeking a strategic and hands-on Business Operations Manager to lead finance, IT, HSEQ, Commercial, facilities management, administration and marketing & communications – enabling these functions to best support our operational divisions.

This is a critical leadership role with direct impact on strategy, governance, operational efficiency and commercial outcomes.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will:

* Provide strategic leadership and commercial guidance
* Lead and develop multidisciplinary teams across finance, P&C, IT and HSEQ
* Implement structured financial and operational reporting dashboards
* Oversee corporate compliance, governance and risk
* Coordinate IT strategy, infrastructure, and security
* Lead marketing strategy including digital, SEO/SEM and brand management
* Manage annual department budgets to maximise ROI
* Ensure compliance with legislative, Business Management System (BMS) and ISO certification requirements
* Champion a strong safety-first and continuous improvement culture

This role balances strategic oversight with operational leadership - ideal for someone who enjoys influencing executive decisions while remaining close to the detail.

About You

You are a commercially astute leader who combines commercial expertise with strong business judgement.

You will bring:

* CA or CPA qualification (essential)
* Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
* Minimum 5+ years' experience in senior commercial, finance, operational or business management roles
* Experience leading and developing diverse teams with multiple direct reports
* Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing capability
* Demonstrated commercial acumen and strategic thinking
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Experience in security, construction, IT, professional services or related industries will be highly regarded.
