About the opportunity
As the Technology Services Officer, you will be delivering expert IT support and ensuring the seamless operation of our technological infrastructure. This position involves mentoring the team, handling escalated issues related to desktops, servers, monitors, MFDs, and other IT hardware.
The role drives high standards for technical excellence through troubleshooting, installations, configurations, and ongoing support across a range of IT systems and hardware at NSW SES.

About you
To be successful in this role you will need to:
* Have extensive technical support experience with desktops, laptops, servers, and monitors.
* Be able to oversee complex issues and providing guidance to team members.
* Have strong organisational skills for tracking tickets, managing assets, and maintaining thorough documentation.
* Have in-depth knowledge of cyber security and compliance requirements, including patching and asset protocols.
* Have experience with Microsoft device management tools, particularly Intune (desirable).
* Possess relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience.

* You will enjoy a 35-hour work week, with the potential for flexible work arrangements such as a nine-day fortnight or a four-day work week depending on the requirements of the role and operational needs.

* Attractive salary range of $99,938.00 to $110,271.00 plus 12% superannuation and leave loading.
