Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District (NBMLHD) is a public health provider serving the Nepean, Blue Mountains, and Lithgow Region. Nepean Hospital is a teaching hospital offering tertiary referral services in emergency care, coronary care, diagnostics, gynaecology, paediatric, neonatal intensive care/ICU, maternity, mental health, rehabilitation, and surgery. The campus is expanding to support communities in Sydney's western suburbs with world-class clinical facilities, services, and care.
Role and Responsibilities
Join the Children's Ward team and work collaboratively as part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team.
Promote professional and compassionate patient care and advocate for the specific needs of each patient and their families.
Be well-supported by an innovative, experienced, and welcoming team.
Apply your compassion and skillset to make a real difference and support the community.
What You Will Bring To The Role
Current registration as Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Demonstrated experience and clinical skill in Paediatric Nursing as a registered nurse (including completion of a new graduate RN program or equivalent experience).
Ability to organise and prioritise work.
Commitment to person-centred care and effective communication (written and verbal).
Commitment to professional development.
Ability to work a flexible roster, day, evening or night shift across all days of the week according to unit/service requirements.
