Your new role
As the Marketing Coordinator, you'll be at the forefront of student acquisition efforts-creating compelling content and campaigns that resonate with prospective students. This is a hands-on role where you'll be expected to:
* Develop and execute creative marketing content across digital platforms, including social media, video, and the web.
* Confidently shoot and edit video content using your phone or other tools.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver engaging campaigns.
* Monitor and respond to social media activity to drive engagement and lead generation.
* Support broader marketing initiatives and contribute to campaign planning and reporting.
You'll be joining a close-knit team of 7 within a larger department of 35, offering a collaborative and energetic work environment.
This is a 6-month fixed-term contract, with the potential for extension depending on business needs. There may also be opportunities to apply for a more permanent role in the future, though this is not guaranteed.
What you'll need to succeed
To thrive in this role, you'll be a self-starter with a passion for digital content and student engagement. Key requirements include:
* A tertiary qualification and at least 1 year of experience in marketing, content creation, or community management.
* Strong understanding of digital platforms and social media trends.
* Creative flair and confidence in producing video content independently.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to build relationships and work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
* High attention to detail and strong planning skills.
Experience in higher education or large organisations is desirable but not essential.
