About The Role
You'll play a key role in delivering high‐quality secondary and primary testing and commissioning activities across hydro power stations, substations, and switchyards.
You will contribute to major project delivery, support change and innovation, and help cultivate a strong safety culture. You'll also mentor and coach team members, undertake technical reviews, and apply sound professional judgement across varied and complex work environments.
You will prepare estimates and assist with proposal development for major internal and external projects, while supporting sales activities and capability development across the Grid & Power Group. Travel to a range of field locations is required.
Base Salary
Starting from $120,173 plus super.

Your Key Responsibilities
* Provide high‐calibre best practice secondary and primary testing, maintenance and commissioning across schemes in hydro power‐stations, substations and switchyards, including factory acceptance testing (FAT) and site acceptance testing (SAT).
* Develop and provide technical reviews and approvals for ITPs, test and commissioning reports and project documentation.
* Offer technical guidance and mentoring to less experienced team members.
* Prepare major project estimates and proposals for internal and external clients.
* Support compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Your Skills & Experience
* Minimum 6 years' experience in testing and commissioning secondary and primary systems, controls, protection and metering schemes.
* Strong experience with Omicron CMC256 and Test Universe.
* Ability to work independently, solve complex technical problems and apply strong professional judgement.
* High‐level written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong computing capability and proficiency using automated protection test sets.
* Effective collaboration skills and experience working across multiple teams.
* Mentoring and coaching capability.
* Strong influence and negotiation skills.
