As a Project Coordinator in the Enterprise Portfolio Group (EPG) at the University of Melbourne, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of strategic initiatives that shape the institution's future. You'll work closely with Project Managers and Initiative leads to plan, coordinate, and execute projects that impact the entire university. This role offers you the opportunity to engage with senior executives, academics, and professional staff across the institution, contributing to innovative solutions that enhance the student experience and drive organisational excellence.
Your responsibilities will include:
3. Project Support: Contribute to the design, implementation, and evaluation of key projects within the EPG portfolio.
4. Stakeholder Engagement: Develop collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and support their contributions to projects.
5. Resource Development: Prepare high-quality project materials and become a subject-matter expert in project areas.
6. Governance Support: Provide secretariat support to project working groups, including producing reports and following up on action items.
* Risk Management: Identify project risks, escalate to Initiative Leads, and support mitigation strategies.

You are a proactive and adaptable professional with project coordination experience, possessing excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders in a complex university environment.

7. Hold a bachelor's degree with relevant project coordination experience (minimum 1 year).
8. Demonstrate knowledge of project management, preferably in higher education or public sector settings.
9. Show excellent writing skills adaptable to various purposes and audiences.
10. Possess strong problem-solving abilities and creative thinking skills.
11. Have experience in stakeholder engagement and collaborative work environments.
12. Exhibit good judgment and the ability to anticipate project and stakeholder needs.
13. Demonstrate strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
14. Have experience working in tertiary education to improve student and/or staff experience (desirable).
15. Be familiar with project management methodologies and tools like Smartsheet (desirable).
