We are currently looking for a skilled, trade-qualified Cabinet Maker as well as an eager Apprentice to join our team.
As a qualified Cabinet Maker, you'll bring your experience in cabinet assembly and machine operation to the role.
For apprentices, whether you're in your first year or further along in your trade, we're looking for someone with a positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.
In this position, you'll be part of a team where CNC machinery is used daily, allowing you to rotate between cabinet assembly and CNC machining tasks.
This variety will help you broaden your skill set while keeping your workweek fresh and engaging.
You'll be surrounded by experienced colleagues who are eager to share their knowledge and help you grow.
And to top it off, enjoy the benefit of half-day Fridays, giving you more time to recharge for the week ahead.

* Full-Time Role: 38 hours per week
* Work Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7am - 4pm; Friday, 6am - 11am

R & A Cabinets provides professional domestic and commercial joinery services for the building and residential industry in Brisbane and surrounding areas. With a proven track record with repeat clientele from regular builders and residential over the past 30 years so we always have plenty of work within the pipeline.
Qualified Cabinet Maker Role:
Listed below are the qualifications and experience necessary to be considered for the position.
* Exemplary attitude, highly motivated
* Experience running CNC and edge bander machines (Biesse Favourable)
* Current forklift licence (A Benefit)
* Car licence
* Own tools
* Trade certificate/trade qualified
* Ability to read drawings and job sheets
* White card
* Be self-motivated
* Flexible environment with good work/life balance
* Excellent attention to detail and quality
* Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment
* Willing and able to impact their technical knowledge to others
* Oversee apprentices
* Long term, stable employment with possible career progression
* Be capable of taking on challenges and achieving results through teamwork
* Overtime available
Apprentice Cabinet Maker Role:

* Self-motivated with positive energy
* Great work ethics and ability to follow instructions
* Ability to learn and apply knowledge or skills quickly
* Passion for woodworking and a willingness to learn the cabinet making trade

The successful candidate must be reliable and punctual. Remuneration will be dependent on experience and skills.
