We are seeking an experienced and driven Operations Manager to lead and coordinate multi‐discipline workshop operations across fabrication, blast & paint, and logistics. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this senior leadership role is responsible for ensuring operational performance, client delivery, and continuous improvement across the business.
This position offers a clear pathway into a broader General Management role for the right candidate.

De Goey Contractors (DGC) provides specialist services in fabrication, protective coating, process piping, manufacturing, and labour hire. Our experienced team supports a wide range of coal mining, terminal maintenance, and port maintenance projects with a strong focus on quality, safety, and performance.
The Role
* Lead and coordinate workshop operations across fabrication, coatings and logistics
* Plan and schedule workflow to ensure efficient delivery of multiple concurrent projects
* Work closely with supervisors to align labour and resources with operational priorities
* Act as a key interface with clients, maintaining strong relationships and managing expectations
* Monitor job progress, identify risks and implement effective solutions
* Drive productivity, efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives
* Contribute to systems, processes and operational structure
* Support business growth and scalability
* Oversee and coordinate workshop logistics and maintenance activities to ensure all movements within the workshop are centrally managed and operations run smoothly
