CELOTTI WORKFORCE is currently seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our client, a leading national logistics and transport provider delivering essential freight and project logistics services across Australia.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to step into a key operational leadership position, overseeing day-to-day delivery, supervising teams and subcontractors, and ensuring safe, efficient and compliant execution of works.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring exceptional client service and driving operational excellence.
Lead a dedicated team, fostering a positive work culture and empowering them to work efficiently and within policy guidelines.
Collaborate with key stakeholders, building strong, long-term relationships and driving customer satisfaction.
Schedule and dispatch drivers and trucks to meet customer requirements, adhering to Fatigue Management guidelines.
Provide leadership, development, and guidance to a diverse range of operational areas, directing and building your team for success.
Conduct regular customer review meetings, presenting performance metrics and improvement plans to drive transparency and collaboration.
Manage the operations budget, achieving financial targets and expanding future business opportunities.
Ensure a safe working environment, reporting any safety incidents or concerns to the Manager.
Ideal Candidate
Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with a strong communication ability.
Demonstrated proficiency in Driver Management and a deep understanding of regulations, compliance, and safety standards.
Proven leadership abilities to oversee and guide a team of operators, dispatchers, and other personnel.
