The region offers many unique opportunities to explore and enjoy world class natural and cultural attractions as well as appreciate the wilderness values of the area.We currently have an opportunity for an Assistant Parks Coordinator - Lalang-gaddam Marine Parks to join our West Kimberley District team.Under the general direction of the Parks Coordinator - Lalang-gaddam Marine Parks, you will:Assist with coordinating and implementing the marine works program identified within the Lalang-gaddam Marine Parks Management Plans and Lalang-gaddam marine park Visitor Plan.Assist with Traditional Owner engagement within the marine parks to ensure stakeholder and community involvement in the marine protected area management.At the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (DBCA), we have adopted Leadership Expectations which provides a common understanding of the mindsets and expected behaviours required of all our employees and the public sector. In this role, you will demonstrate Personal Leadership to help drive positive change.Selection CriteriaApplicants should address the following four (4) criteria.
