Opportunity for Test & Tag Technician - Testing and tagging cables and devices - Government end client
Your new company
Join a large and reputable organisation delivering Essential technology services across multiple sites. Due to increased Operational requirements, they are seeking reliable and detail‑oriented Electricians / Technicians to support device compliance and assets management activities for a project working with a large client based in Macquarie Park.
Your new role
You will be responsible for the safe inspection, testing and tagging of various ICT devices across the organisation. Working as part of a driven technical support team, you will:
* Conduct test and tag on a range of equipment including printers, laptops, monitors, and peripheral devices
* Test and verify power cables and leads in accordance with Australian Standards
* Log all tested assets, ensuring device labels and compliance information are accurately captured in internal systems
* Maintain clear documentation to support auditing, compliance and asset traceability
* Ensure all equipment meets safety and operational standards prior to deployment
What you'll need to succeed
* Current Test & Tag certification (mandatory)
* Experience working with ICT hardware and accessories
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Experience testing and tagging cables and leads
* Valid National Police Check, or willingness to obtain one prior to commencement
* High level of professionalism when working in government environments
