Clinical Nurse Consultant - Recovery / PACU

Sunnybank Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse/CNC - Recovery / PACUto join our Operating Theatre on a full time basis. You will play a key role within a supportive team in ensuring high levels of patient care is provided.
As the CNC Recovery / PACURole, your responsibilities will include:
* Oversee safe, quality care that meets current best practice standard
* Support and liaise with the Perioperative Services Manager, staff and VMO anaesthetist
* Understanding of legislative requirements, ACORN and sterilization standard
* Knowledge of accreditation processes and Quality / Risk management

* Current Registration with AHPRA
* Previous experience in a CN / Recovery / PACU role, or been practising in the role of anaesthetic nurse for more than 3-4 years in a team leader role
* Have completed relevant post graduate qualification or commitment to commence within 12 months of appointment
* Commitment to Quality Patient Care
* Compliance with NSQHC National standards
* Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
* Experience in similar position (desired)
* Excellent Communication and Customer Services skills
* Highly organised and strong ability to prioritise tasks
