The Family: A warm, down-to-earth family based in York, WA, is seeking a nurturing, reliable and proactive nanny to support their two children — an 8-month-old baby and a 7-year-old school-aged child. Mum works from home and is available to assist when needed, while Dad works away most days. Their home runs best with consistency, structure and a loving, calm approach. The family also has three outdoor dogs, a turtle and fish, so a comfort around pets is important. Days & Hours: Thursday and Friday – 7:00am to 5:00pm Start: ASAP Commitment: Minimum 6 months, with the potential to extend long-term A Typical Day Will Include: Morning routine with the 7-year-old, including breakfast and getting ready for school School drop-off and pick-up Supporting the baby with two naps, bottles and solid meals Age-appropriate play, developmental activities and routine-based care Meal preparation for the children Child-related laundry and general household support Maintaining consistent structure, routine and calm transitions Location: York, WA The Family’s Dream Nanny: Someone who is warm, patient and consistent, with a genuine love of children and the ability to create a calm, structured environment.
