Job Description
The Research Analyst plays a key role in managing property and market data, delivering insightful analysis to support both internal stakeholders and external clients. The position also contributes to enhancing the Colliers brand through the development of research reports, marketing collateral and PR activities.
Integral to the role is close collaboration with multiple Colliers teams, department heads and stakeholders across the business, ensuring the collection, integrity and ongoing improvement of high‐quality data across relevant markets and sectors.
Some of the Key Responsibilities include:
* Carry out the collection and analysis of property market indicators across sectors and markets, primarily focused on Office Sales & Leasing, on a quarterly basis to produce market commentary for internal and external distribution.
* Manage the ongoing data aggregation of comparable sales and leasing evidence, property market trends and general property information.
* Pro-actively engage and provide inputs into the production of thought leadership style research, as well as presentation material and PR opportunities.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of technology strategies that support the Research business plan.
* Collaborate with the National research team and experts in the business to improve research data sets and seek to innovate and analyse to implement new data initiatives.
Qualifications
You will bring a genuine passion for the property industry, ideally supported by relevant qualifications or experience in a similar Research Analyst role. Ideally, you will have:
* Completed, or be in your final year of, a degree in Property Economics, Economics, Finance or a related discipline.
* Proven experience in data management and analytics is highly regarded.
* Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills being highly regarded.
* Experience creating and working with data visualisation tools such as Power BI (or similar) and mapping tools preferred, though not essential.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to confidently liaise with stakeholders at all levels, from senior leadership to technical teams.
* A collaborative and outgoing approach, with a genuine interest in networking and building professional relationships.
