At Structural Concrete Industries, we know that our finance and administration team is an integral part of our business. From daily operations to major infrastructure projects, their work ensures accuracy, efficiency and compliance across the company. We are now seeking a fulltime Bookkeeper to join our Finance team and help drive our ongoing success.

About the role
Reporting to the Management Accountant and working closely with the Payroll and Administration Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial data and supporting the day‑to‑day operations of the business.
What you'll be doing
* Manage daily banking, reconciliations, petty cash and credit card transactions.
* Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including invoice processing, supplier payments, credit notes and customer collections.
* Support month‑end processes, including journals, reconciliations, BAS lodgement and financial reporting tasks.
* Maintain the fixed asset register, depreciation schedules, asset servicing/registration records, insurance and asset finance agreements.
* Process monthly payroll for salaried employees, maintain employee records and support weekly payroll when required.
* Handle payroll compliance obligations, including payroll tax, workers' compensation and leave management.
* Assist Directors with administrative and confidential tasks, including travel coordination and report preparation.
* Manage administrative requirements for company‑owned or leased properties.
* Support the upkeep of financial policies, procedures and compliance documentation.
What we're looking for
* Minimum 2 years' bookkeeping experience
* Strong understanding of AP, AR, reconciliations and financial processing
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
* Ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously
* Experience with payroll, BAS and asset management (highly desirable)
