We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated IT professional to join our team at our Perth office. You’ll be part of a dedicated and supportive IT function, with opportunities to grow, develop, and make a real impact.
As a System Administrator with Bluewaters Power, you will be the highest point of technical escalation and bring broad experience across diverse IT systems. In this role, you will act as a technical expert, responsible for the configuration, operation, and maintenance of our software and hardware infrastructure. You’ll also play a key role in mentoring and supporting the IT Support Officer and Systems Support Administrator, helping to build capability within the team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for;
- Deploying and optimising on-premise enterprise IT equipment and services
- Cybersecurity and infrastructure monitoring, alerting and design
- Networks, routing, firewalling and unified communications
- Providing technical direction to stakeholders in the critical OT systems environment
- Participating in rapid remediation in the event of an incident or systems outage
- Contributing to IT processes and technical documentation as required
- Solving problems and addressing business needs with technology
- Support software development team with executing, testing and deploying systems
The successful candidate will have;
- 4 years’ experience in a similar role within a small-to-medium sized environment
- Strong skills in virtualised environments
- Skills administering enterprise storage platforms
- Experience with the Microsoft stack, including SQL server and Microsoft IIS
- Linux administration and infrastructure monitoring tools
- Experience writing business documents to ensure IT manuals and guidelines are completed
- Robust interpersonal, verbal and written skills
