Details: Digital Strategy, Services & Transformation (DSST) Branch provides services to the Directorate in identifying, developing and managing appropriate information and technical resources for corporate and school staff as well as students. This includes managing and providing advice and business and technical support on Teaching and Learning systems, Business and Administration systems, ICT programs and relevant policies and procedures.

We are looking for an experienced project manager with a strong understanding of ICT Systems, particularly AI and education software. The successful applicant will be able to prioritise their workload and take initiative of projects.

Extensive knowledge of information technology, information management and service design as it relates to the education sector will be highly regarded.

The ability to juggle priorities, be resilient and tactful, passionate about what you do and committed to making a difference are key traits for the ideal candidate.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:

* Possession of a current driver's licence and access to a private vehicle.
* Prior to commencing this role, a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 is required. For further information on Working with Vulnerable People registration refer to - Apply for or renew a WWVP registration - Access Canberra )
* Formal qualifications in a technology or communication related field highly regarded.

Notes: A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Opportunities for flexible working options could include hybrid working, being a combination of working from home, designated office based and FlexiSpace working locations across the ACT, part-time hours, job-sharing, flexible start, and finish times.
