You’ll lead the purchasing function day to day and set the pace. This includes managing two Purchasing Officers, staying on top of imports, and making sure stock is ordered, tracked and delivered properly. You’ll be across lead times, supplier coordination and what’s coming in and out of the business. You’ll need to get into the detail early, understand how things are currently done, and then shape how the function runs. This is a fast-moving environment. No overthinking. No overcomplicating.
