About The Role As a key leadership role, you will oversee the development and delivery of our Community Care and Support Services teams. Reporting to the Care Services and Operations Managers, you will lead a passionate team to deliver evidence-based, person-centred dementia care, while ensuring operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support Community Care teams to deliver high-quality, person-centred care services.
* Drive compliance with Alzheimer's WA standards, policies, and regulatory frameworks.
* Build strong partnerships with key stakeholders (hospitals, health services, MPs, local councils).
* Manage service delivery, budgets, staffing and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Oversee training and development of staff and volunteers.
* Maintain a culture of safety, innovation, and performance.
* Represent Alzheimer's WA in external forums and community settings.
*About You* You're a strategic leader with strong operational skills and a deep understanding of community-based care. You bring empathy, innovation, and a commitment to high-quality, person-centred services.
Selection Criteria
* Proven experience in service or operational management (preferably in home/community care).
* Clinical background (Nursing or Allied Health) highly regarded.
* In-depth knowledge of Australian Aged Care Quality Standards.
* Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
* Passion for improving outcomes for people living with dementia.
* Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
* Current WA Driver's Licence.
* Full Australian working rights.
* National Police Clearance (within 6 months)
* COVID-19 and Influenza vaccination (as per current requirements)
