What you'll be doing
Rural Directors of Education and Training – Rural Generalist Medical Training Program (RGTP) provide oversight and coordination of trainees' clinical and professional training including foundation, advanced and procedural skills training; and coordinate mentoring and career counselling for trainees in the statewide wide network. The position reports to the State‑wide Director of Training.
Rural Directors will be a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) and / or the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM). Directors are responsible for assisting the State‑wide Director of Training – Rural Generalist Training Program in the promotion, advocacy and effective delivery of a rural generalist training vocational pathway in NSW.
All NSW Health workers are required to be COVID‑19 vaccine compliant or have an approved AIR immunisation medical exemption form (IM011). You will be required to provide a record of your COVID‑19 vaccination status if successful.
During the selection process, candidates will be required to undergo additional assessments in determining their suitability for the role. Successful candidates will also need to agree to undergo a National Police Check.
