A well established accounting and advisory practice in Ivanhoe is seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join a supportive and professional wealth management team in a permanent, part-time role. The business provides expertise in accounting and tax, complemented by specialist capability across audit, wealth management and superannuation.
The Paraplanner plays a central role in supporting advisers through the preparation of compliant, high quality advice and contributing to strong client outcomes across the wealth management and superannuation functions.
This position suits someone who takes pride in accuracy, structure and technical quality and who enjoys working closely with advisers to translate client objectives into clear, well considered advice documentation.
The Paraplanner will be responsible for supporting advisers with advice preparation and strategy development, including drafting Statements of Advice and related documentation, conducting research on products, legislation and strategy options, maintaining accurate client records and ensuring advice is delivered in line with regulatory and compliance requirements. The role also involves liaising with advisers and internal team members, assisting with peer reviews of advice documents and contributing to the ongoing improvement of advice processes.
The team operates in a collaborative, professional environment with a strong focus on client outcomes, integrity and long term relationships. The office is based in Ivanhoe in a well run practice where collaboration, learning and support are genuinely prioritised.
This role offers flexibility in how a career can develop. With structured development and mentoring, there is a clear pathway to progress into an Associate Adviser role within 12–24 months, with support to complete professional years once in the Associate Adviser role. For those who prefer to build depth as a technical specialist, there are also opportunities to continue developing a long term career in paraplanning within the business.
