Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner living in Wangaratta or nearby to join our friendly, professional team.
Due to increasing demand for our services, we require a Behaviour Support Practitioner committed to evidence-based, functional behavioural outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support clients (NDIS participants), their families, and carers to identify needs through assessment and person-centred planning.
* Set meaningful goals and strategies using The Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework, with a focus on eliminating restrictive practices in home and community settings.
* Develop, deliver, and evaluate support plans within complex support environments.
* Ensure plans align with clients' goals, passions, and strengths.
* Build the knowledge and capacity of those supporting our clients, including family, carers, and friends.

* Current registration with the NDIS Commission as a Behaviour Support Practitioner is essential.
* Ability to work positively within a multidisciplinary team.
* Excellent communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills.
* Proficient computer skills.
* Strong writing skills.
* Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
Qualifications
* Degree-level qualifications relevant to supporting people with behaviours of concern are highly preferred.
