We're on the lookout for a Site Administrator to join the Learning & Development team at the Gove Bauxite Mine — and we need someone who can start ASAP If you're organised, proactive, and love keeping things running smoothly, this could be the perfect gig for you. In this role, you'll help support staff training, assist with change management activities, prep training rooms, and work closely with a range of stakeholders.
We're open to applicants based in Gove, Darwin or Cairns, as long as you're ready to jump in quickly. Roster options:
* 8/6 FIFO from Darwin or Cairns
* 5/2 residential for Gove locals (you'll need to be available over the Christmas period; Christmas Day is yours, but flexibility can be discussed)
What you'll be doing:
* Supporting the L&D team
* Helping with training activities
* Assisting with change management tasks
* Preparing rooms and training spaces
* Engaging with key stakeholders
What we're looking for:
* Strong admin skills (2–3 years minimum)
* Experience with Workday or SAP (bonus points)
* Confident with MS Office
* Solid data entry skills
* A proactive mindset and interest in business improvement
* Great communication skills
* Available over Christmas (with Christmas Day off)
Nice‑to‑haves (but not deal‑breakers):
* Scheduling experience
* Previous mining/resources site experience
* Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment
* Previous Rio Tinto medical
