About The Role
We are seeking expressions of interest for a Chef Manager to lead kitchen operations at our Alphington site. This hands-on leadership role offers genuine work-life balance, overseeing daily kitchen operations, guiding a small team, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, nutritious meals in a structured, high-volume environment. You will play a key role in maintaining consistency, driving standards, and supporting a positive team culture.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor, and motivate the kitchen team to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes
* Oversee preparation and presentation of meals at scale
* Manage special dietary requirements and meal modifications
* Supervise daily kitchen operations: food preparation, service, dishwashing, and cleaning
* Maintain strict food safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards
* Ensure efficient and professional service delivery in a structured environment
Key Skills and Experience
* Proven experience in high-volume catering environments in a similar Chef or Chef Manager role
* Strong leadership experience managing kitchen teams in healthcare, aged care, or similar structured environments
* Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (preferred or willing to obtain upon commencement)
* Ability to manage workload, prioritise tasks, and maintain consistency under pressure
