About This Role
Brisbane Youth Service is seeking a Data And Evaluation Coordinator to join their team. The successful candidate will support the Research and Evaluation Lead and the Quality Research and Innovation Senior Manager to deliver effective and evidence-informed services to young people and their families.
This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the organization's mission is achieved through delivering high-quality data-driven insights. The ideal candidate will have a sound knowledge of evaluation planning tools, strong quantitative data cleaning and analysis skills, and be committed to achieving social justice.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain databases, spreadsheets, and other tools to track and analyze program outcomes.
* Design and implement data collection instruments, including surveys and assessments.
* Analyze and interpret complex data sets to inform service delivery and improve program effectiveness.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for enhancement.
* Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear and concise reports and presentations.
Requirements
* A tertiary qualification in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Social Sciences, or Business, or comparable qualification OR substantial demonstrated experience in a related field.
* Advanced Excel skills and ability to clean, interpret, and explain data to both expert and non-expert audiences.
* Excellent written and interpersonal communication, collaborative and organized, with a solutions-focused mindset and ability to manage competing priorities independently.
