Human Resources Officer – 2 year temporary full-time position
Location: Mudgee, New South Wales
Contract: 2 year temporary full-time position
Hours: 35-hour week, with an RDO every 4 weeks
This position is responsible for the coordination of human resources services including recruitment and selection, learning and development, performance management and industrial relations.
You will work with the HR Coordinator who will mentor you through recruitment and selection, learning and development, performance management and industrial relations.
Responsibilities
You will be adaptable, ambitious and thrive in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment whilst working in a collaborative and supportive team where variety and challenge is the norm.
You are looking for the opportunity to expand into Local Government and make use of your current qualifications and/or experience (Certificate IV in HR or similar qualification/experience) and have a strong generalist HR background.
You think outside the box and are pro-active and enjoy advising, assisting and coaching Managers and Supervisors.
You will have
Certificate IV in Human Resources or equivalent qualification and/or experience
Experience in a generalist Human Resources environment, with particular emphasis on recruitment and selection, performance management and learning and development
General knowledge of employment-related legislation, industrial instruments and their application
Sound working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Current Driver's licence
Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks and activities in a fast-paced environment
Well-developed written and reporting skills
Strong and effective communication with a diverse range of people
Salary and Benefits
Salary range: $2,979 – $3,854 gross per fortnight plus superannuation (annual $77,454 – $100,209 gross plus superannuation).
