As a Property Operations Technician (Shift Engineer), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation and maintenance of mechanical services and refrigeration across our property.
You will complete field inspections, troubleshoot in the event of building faults, and make applicable recommendations to the Property Operations Leadership.
This is a fantastic opportunity where you will showcase your problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
A few of your responsibilities: Perform maintenance and repairs ensuring compliance with relevant policies and proceduresCollaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuityConduct regular inspections and testing of machinery, identifying potential risks and implementing proactive measures to mitigate themMaintain accurate documentation and records of all work performed, adhering to strict quality and safety protocolsProvide technical expertise and guidance to colleagues, contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and proceduresWhat are we looking for: Recognised mechanical trade qualificationProven experience in maintenance and repairs in a commercial or industrial settingDemonstrated working knowledge and experience in fault diagnosticsAbility to identify hazards and risks and provide appropriate control measuresExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think criticallyEffective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a teamFlexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as requiredAbout you: With your extensive experience as a Shift Engineer within a commercial setting, deep understanding of machinery, strong problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to health & safety, you're set to thrive in our Property Operations team.
