About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our amazing team at Orthodontics Wagga Wagga. This is a full-time role based in our practice in Wagga Wagga, NSW. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our Specialist Orthodontists and Oral Health Therapist.
What You'll Be Doing
* Preparing treatment rooms and sterilising instruments prior to patient appointments
* Assisting Orthodontist and Oral Health Therapist with procedures by passing instruments, holding suction devices, and providing other support
* Educating patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
* Managing patient records and scheduling appointments
* Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
* Adhering to all health, safety, and infection control protocols
What We're Looking For
* No dental experience necessary. Comprehensive training on the job
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients
* Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
* Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sterilisation
* Willing to complete Certificate III and IV in dental assisting
* Enthusiasm for providing exceptional patient care
* Team player
