You will contribute to a well-established service providing inpatient, outpatient, neonatal, and community-based care, supported by outreach clinics and telehealth services to surrounding areas.You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, sharing responsibility for acute and elective services, including support to obstetric services and participation in an on‐call roster.This role also offers strong opportunities to:Teach and supervise doctors in training and medical studentsContribute to service development, quality improvement, and clinical governanceBe involved in regional outreach and innovative models of careThe service is well‐supported, with a strong mix of experienced Consultants and doctors in training, and is accredited for training, making it an excellent environment for clinicians passionate about both service delivery and education.Requirements You must be eligible for specialist registration with AHPRA and hold:Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in Paediatrics, OREquivalent overseas specialist qualifications (e.g. CCT (UK), CSCST (Ireland), ABIM Board Certification (USA), RCPSC (Canada), or Vocational Registration in NZ)The Location Tasmania's North West offers a unique and rewarding lifestyle.
