The Opportunity: We're looking for a Communications Manager to develop and execute strategic internal communication initiatives that foster employee engagement, alignment, and connection across InvoCare. In this pivotal role, you will report to the EGM – People & Culture and work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure consistent, clear, and compelling messaging that supports our culture, values, and business priorities. You'll be a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, ready to champion cultural change and drive impactful communication. Key Responsibilities: Internal Communications Strategy: Design and implement a comprehensive internal communications strategy that is aligned with our values and strategic goals. You'll develop messaging frameworks and communication plans for key organisational initiatives, change programs, and leadership messages. Employee Engagement: Partner with the People & Culture leadership team to support engagement initiatives like surveys, feedback loops, and reward and recognition programs. Create content and campaigns that promote employee voice, wellbeing, and inclusion. Content Creation & Channel Management: Manage internal communication channels, including our intranet, newsletters, Teams/Viva Engage, town halls, and digital signage. Write, edit, review, and produce engaging content such as articles, videos, and presentations for a diverse employee audience, ensuring consistent messaging across all communications. Leadership & Stakeholder Communication: Support leaders with communication toolkits, talking points, and coaching to improve message delivery and impact. Measurement & Continuous Improvement: Monitor and report on the effectiveness of communication using analytics and employee feedback. Continuously improve communication practices based on these insights and best practices. Skills & Experience: Experience in internal communications or employee engagement roles. Proven ability to develop and deliver strategic communication plans. Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills. Experience with digital communication platforms and tools. Ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of the organisation. Proficiency with digital communication tools and analytics platforms. Experience in change management and organisational development is highly regarded.
