Job Title: Social Worker in Cancer Care
This is a senior-level social work position within our multidisciplinary team, supporting individuals and families through various life stages.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Provide clinical and psychosocial support within the Cancer Care Unit
* Supervise and upskill the social work team
* Collaborate with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, dietitians, and other allied health professionals
* Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and care planning
* Advocate for patients and families within the regional community
Qualifications and Skills:
* Evidence of three years' clinical experience in Social Work under relevant Health Professionals Awards
* Australian citizenship or permanent residency, or ability to live and work legally in Australia
* Proven ability to work in a regional community setting
