About the role
Salary: $1,110.90 per week plus Superannuation and Annual Leave Loading.
Position Type : Ongoing Permanent – Full Time.
Location : Metropolitan, Hunter, Wellington State-wide
In this role you are required to work various start and finish times between Monday to Sunday and, inclusive of Public Holidays when required. You will be responsible for providing a range of transport and logistic services to all Corrective Services NSW and, Corrective Services and Industries clients.
You must be able to work in a flexible manner and provide safe yet, timely service to your clients. Provide efficient service in accordance to the National Heavy Vehicle Law and CSNSW policy and procedures.
To be successful in this role you will have:
1. Relevant experience as a Transport Driver
2. Knowledge of all traffic laws and relevant legislation
3. Sound written and verbal communication skills within the logistics operation environment
4. Able to work in a high-pressure environment and adapt to change
5. Experience in providing a high level of service within a set timeframe
6. Ability to work within the set safe work practices including manual handling for loading and unloading and, securing of goods for transit
7. Current First Aid Certificate or be willing to obtain prior to taking up and offer of employment
8. Forklift Licence is desirable

Essential Requirements:
9. A current Heavy Combination Licence (HC) is required
10. A current Heavy Rigid Licence (HR) and willingness to upgrade
11. A printout of your satisfactory driving history provided by the RMS
12. Safe food handling certificate with experience working with perishables under HACCP
