The Conference & Events Planner is required to oversee all administrative areas of the Conference & Events department from when the event is confirmed by Sales through to the start of the event.

You will be assisting with:

* Day to day admin within C&E including but not limited to; Invoicing, organising & following up event deposit schedules, liaising with clients and monitoring emails
* Allocating appropriate event space, liaise with our reservations team regarding accommodation space and create Banquet Event Orders (BEO) for each event to distribute to all departments
* You will maintain a strong knowledge of packages and specials within the hotel and act as the primary contact for detailed meeting/event planning, working closely with Banquet Operations, F&B management, Reservations, Rooms Division operation, Finance and external suppliers.

All successful candidates must be positively motivated to provide exceptional customer service and will possess the following skills & attributes:

* Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the company.
* Problem solving and organizational abilities.
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
* Experience with Delphi Salesforce and Opera an advantage
* Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Sales & Marketing, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
* 1 year related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
