Lead Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Infrastructure Engineer to lead and mentor a team of Infrastructure Analysts and Coordinators to maintain consistent service delivery.
The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in VMware, AWS, and Microsoft Azure.
They should also have strong scripting and automation proficiency (Terraform, Python, PowerShell, Bash).
Experience with Windows Server and Linux OS administration (RHEL, CentOS, Debian) is also required.
Familiarity with managing databases in infrastructure environments (Oracle, SQL) is a plus.
The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with infrastructure monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, Nagios, Prometheus).
A solid understanding of ITIL frameworks; ITIL v4 certification is preferred.
Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to manage teams and communicate with stakeholders at all levels are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of Infrastructure Analysts and Coordinators.
Serve as the escalation point for advanced infrastructure issues.
Oversee system availability and performance across test, pre-production, and production environments.
Collaborate closely with security, application, and DevOps teams.
Provide expert-level guidance on automation, cloud strategies, and infrastructure optimization.
Manage monitoring tools and processes.
Ensure adherence to ITIL-based processes for incident, problem, and change management.
Lead stakeholder engagement to communicate infrastructure health, risks, and project updates.
Oversee capacity management and cost control across both on-premise and cloud infrastructure.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years' experience in Infrastructure Support, IT Operations, or a related field.
Deep technical expertise in VMware, AWS, and Microsoft Azure.
