As Inventory and Planning Manager for PACT's Steel division, you will to manage the planning process for manufacturing, manage Inventory and manage sourcing of vendors to optimize profitability of PACT Group. This is to be achieved by streamlining the planning process and creating Inventory policy's though collaboration with internal stakeholders and creating strong relationships with vendors.
**Your key responsibilities include**:
- Complying with all PACT Group safety requirements and promote safe environment within the organization
- Complying with relevant Pact Group policies related to Inventory, purchasing and procurement
- Controlling Inventory levels through strategic planning and procurement amongst plants in order to optimize stock holdings
- Maintaining accurate inventory levels through Stock take and cycle counts and maintaining all BOMS for manufacturing and subcontractors
- Reviewing the Planning process Nationally, identify and drive improvements
- Sourcing, monitoring and reviewing vendors and subcontractors
- Regularly reviewing vendor performance
- Requesting and assessing quotations and other information from suppliers such as compliance or DIFOT metrics, whilst maintaining open communication to avoid disruption of supply
- Implementing and managing accurate procurement documentation, including purchase order reconciliations
- Communications with customer service in order to improve service levels for the customers and to respond to queries which may arise
- Participating in meetings and discussions, collaborating with other business areas as required
- Developing, implement and manage business optimization projects as required

**To be successful in this role, you will have**:
- Solid experience in Supply Chain Management
- Experience in purchasing, planning, stock control and warehousing
- Experience in working with suppliers, subcontractors and a sound understanding of importing
- Advanced level of SAP knowledge, incl maintaining master data, setting MRP relevant parameters and forecasting
- Advanced in inventory analysis and management
- Understanding manufacturing processes and demand planning
- High level of analytical and numeracy skill
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced in Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Analytical ability with Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Formulas, Graphs etc)
