**The Hospital**
The hospital has recently enjoyed a major $408 Million overhaul and expansion doubling the number of beds to over 300 and increasing the size by 40,000m2 including a new Emergency Department. This is now a state of the art fully modern hospital and one of Australia's largest regional healthcare facilities.
The hospital is also accredited for training with a number of the colleges and provides the following specialist services to the local community:
ED, O&G, Paeds, Orthopaedics, Anaesthetics, ICU, Coronary care, Psychiatry, Aged Care, Renal Medicine, ENT, Ophthalmology, Palliative Care & Day Surgery.
The hospital also operates the following clinics: Dermatology, Oncology, Orthopaedic, Neurosurgical, Neurology, Liver, Diabetic, Urology, Surgical, Medical, Renal, Pacemaker, Cardiac, Haematology, Ophthalmology & Wound Management and is also closely affiliated to the local and regional medical school so academic opportunities may be available.
**The Role**
Due to the recent redevelopment and the growth in demand for services the hospital are now in need of an experienced Emergency Medicine or Primary Care Physician. The role can be taken on either at the level of Senior Medical Officer or Staff Specialist. The FRACGP, FACRRM, or FACEM
- Your full specialist training in the UK, USA, Canada or Ireland as an Emergency Physician or GP.
- Have had your specialist training assessed and have been found to be comparable to an Australian Fellow.
- New Zealand Fellows looking to come to Australia for 12 months or more
**Salary**: Up to $495,997.00 per year
